What we do
Servicing that actually brings the temperature down
Most "weak" air conditioners are not broken — they are blocked, low on charge or quietly drowning in dust. Here is the work we do most often.
-
General service
Filters washed, barrel fan and coils cleaned, drain line cleared, temperatures and pressures checked, electricals tightened.
Split · Multi-head · Ducted -
Chemical wash
For units with visible mould or a musty smell. Coils and blower are chemically cleaned in place and the tray is flushed.
Odour & mould -
Chemical overhaul
The deep option: the indoor unit comes off the wall, is fully dismantled, washed and reinstalled with new seals.
Heavily soiled units -
Gas top-up & leak repair
We trace the leak before we recharge — pressure testing, brazing or flare repairs, then a correctly weighed charge.
R32 · R410A -
Installation & relocation
New back-to-back installs, bracket work, condensate routing, and careful moves when a room changes use.
Supply or your unit -
Fault diagnosis
Error codes, tripping breakers, outdoor fans that won't spin. We find the cause and quote the fix separately.

How it works
Four steps from stuffy room to signed-off service
No call-centre loops and no vague arrival windows. You will know who is coming and what they intend to do.
-
STEP 01
Tell us the unit
Send the form with your unit count and symptoms. We reply with a time window and a fixed price for the service type.
-
STEP 02
We diagnose first
Airflow, temperature split, drain fall and electrical draw are measured before anything is dismantled.
-
STEP 03
Clean, repair, test
Drop sheets down, water contained, work completed on the spot where parts allow. We run the unit with you watching.
-
STEP 04
Signal report
A short written summary: readings before and after, what we replaced, and the next service date worth booking.
When to book
Six signs your unit is asking for attention
If one of these sounds familiar, a service is usually cheaper than the repair it prevents.
- Airflow has gone weakThe fan sounds the same but the room takes hours to cool.
- Water dripping indoorsA blocked drain line or a tray that has silted up over the seasons.
- Musty or sour smellBiofilm on the coil and blower — the case for a chemical wash.
- Ice forming on the coilOften low charge or restricted airflow. Worth checking early.
- The bill keeps climbingA dirty system works longer for the same temperature.
- New rattles or clicksLoose fan bearings, debris in the barrel, or a bracket working free.

Good to know
Questions we answer on most first calls
How often should a unit be serviced?
For a home used through summer, once a year is the sensible baseline, ideally before the first hot stretch. Units in dusty rooms, near the coast, or running most of the year do better on two visits.
How long does a service take?
Allow around an hour for a single wall-mounted head, a little more if the drain needs clearing. Chemical washes and overhauls take longer because the unit is dismantled and dried before it goes back together.
Can you do several units in one visit?
Yes, and it is the cheaper way to do it — per-unit pricing drops after the first. Tell us how many heads and whether any of them are ducted, and we will size the time window properly.
Do you work with renters and strata?
We do. If you are renting, we can send the quote and the completed service report in a format you can forward to the owner or building manager without rewriting anything.
What if you find something that needs a repair?
We stop and quote it. The service price stays as agreed, the repair is priced separately, and you decide whether it happens on the day or at a later booking.
